On 5-6 of March the fourth transnational meeting of partners of the project “ITER- police Itineraries in the multiprofessional network for the prevention of juvenile delinquency”will take place in La Latina (Italy).
The project, which has as its main objective to carry out activities to prevent juvenile violence, mainly through the integration of Security Forces within multi-professional networks of support and prevention of this type of violence, is co-financed by the European Commission in the frame of the European programme of Security and Safeguarding Liberties of the Directorate-General for Justice, Liberty and Security of the European Commission.
The ITER project, led by the provincial Council of Alicante, relies on the Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea as a dissemination partner, as well as on the Town Council of Latina in Italy, the National Association of Municipal civil servants in Bulgaria and Videscenter for Integration of Denmark as partners.
Taking advantage of the meeting between the partners, the IV and last Seminar of the Iter Project will be held on the 5th March. The Mayor of La Latina and other institutional representatives will take part in the official inauguration of the Seminar . During the morning, several young people, teachers, psychologists and sociologists from the Scientific Institute “G. B. Grassi”, Professional Technical Institute “L. Einaudi”, I.I.S. Polytechnic school “Sani-Salvemini”, Technical Institute I.S. “G.Marconi”, and the first degree Secondary school “G.Cena”-“Corradini”, will give a speech to share their experiences.
During the first afternoon, there will be a visit to the Centres Liceo G.B and Scuola Media G. Cena. All the agents invited to the seminar are active members of the network created and consolidated by means of this project. The programme of the event will focus mainly on speeches by the young people who participated very closely in the activities of the project.
The meeting of project partners will take place on Saturday morning. The partners will approve the documents of the third transnational meeting held in Sofia (Bulgaria) on 2nd and 3rd October 2009, will analyse the development of the quantitative research carried out, the state of the practical-methodological guide for the courses, and the didactic videogame on which they have been working. As for the Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea, it will be in charge of the dissemination activities at international level carried out throughout the project. Finally, partners will deal with financial matters, plan the following meetings and seminars, and make an evaluation of the development of the project.
